With Doug Yule (Velvet Underground), Eric Kaz (Blues Magoos), Craig Fuller (Pure Prairie League) and Steve Katz (Blues Project, Blood, Sweat & Tears) in the line-up, the pedigree was there; add George Martin’s production to their debut album, and success a la CSN&Y or the Eagles would seem a cinch.
